What is a Safety Switch?
A safety switch is designed to secure access points such as doors or hatches on machines and installations. When a safety guard is opened, a secure signal is transmitted to the safety controller, resulting in the isolation of the power supply to the machine or installation. This ensures a quick and controlled stop, improving overall safety in the industrial environment.
